Me

My name is Alyssa, and I am 14 years old. I have an amazing family, great friends, and an Almighty God who loves me. Life is beautiful through Him! :D

I love baking; I love, love, love music(especially the Carpenters, the Beatles, REO Speedwagon, and classical music of any kind); I love reading, but especially the Bible; I love tea and tea parties; I love long, flowy skirts; I love pink, glittery anything; I love playing with my siblings; I really, really love going to church; I really love singing; I love learning to love math; :D I love people; I love smiling; I love my future husband, even though I don't know who in the world he is ( I also love the anticipation about meeting him one day!); I love learning about God. He is EVERYTHING to me, and I can say that without any hesitation. A month ago, my priorities were in the wrong place, and I could not say that whole-heartedly... but more on that later. :D

Oh, and I like blogging. :D I have another blog called Bonjour, Babycakes! about baking.

I hate my sin. And, I am learning to hate it even more. That is the key, my friend. I am drawing closer to God each day, and He is drawing closer to me. Satan is fleeing. And that makes me happy. :D I hate my selfishness. It gets in the way of my spiritual life.

I want you to draw near to God! I want to help you get the closest to Him as humanly possible. And this is why I am blogging here.

A few months ago, I was struggling in my walk with Him, and I wanted someone to empathize with me and show me what to do. I talked to my mother, I read books, and I started reading my Bible every night and every morning, and praying out loud(not silently in my bed where I could fall asleep easily!). I started changing.

I want to help you if you are in that tight spot. I want to show you that a lazy, selfish, non-dilligent, hard-hearted girl like I was can have an amazing, fufilling walk with Christ.

I will finish my story at a later date. :D
